Regulation size basketball hoop, in powder coated steel.
An essential accessory for playing the game , the basketball basket, or "ring" is made of powder-coated tubular steel Ø 20 mm, orange in color with an internal diameter of 450 mm, as per FIBA regulations
Net attachment using 12 steel hooks with a diameter of 4 mm equidistant from each other, the hooks have been made in such a way that the space between the hook and the ring is not greater than 8 mm.
The plate on which the ring is welded is made of 4 mm thick box-type steel sheet. Reinforcement band welded between plate and ring in 4 mm thick sheet steel. The base in which the release system is contained is made of 4 mm thick box sheet steel, with hole spacing of 115x110 mm for M screws .10.
The release system is made up of 2 rotation pins in galvanized steel diam. 18mm and diam. 12mm, 3 fixed springs in galvanized steel , compressed by 3 pins in galvanized steel and self-locking nuts.
The calibration of the release force is set at 65 kg.
The base containing the release system is closed by a 2 mm thick box-type steel sheet, fixed with 4 4.8x16 mm rivets.
The basket is painted with polyester powder, Ral 2004 orange colour, this product is lead-free and reflects current anti-pollution environmental legislation.
Supplied with No. 4 galvanized screws M.10x40, No. 4 washers for M.10 screws, No. 1 black rubber plate 5 mm thick with No. 4 holes, No. 1 rope for fixing the net to the hooks
The basket is supplied excluding the net.
